Archaeology: From Reel to Real...

Next week we will be taking a look at Raiders of the Lost Ark.  You will have to write a short essay about the movie afterwards on one of two topics: (1) Classic vs Modern Archaeology OR (2) Comparing/Contrasting REAL life archaeology with REEL archaeology…meaning how it is depicted in the movies.  The image above will redirect you to a website run by the National Science Foundation that also compares and contrasts the adventures of movie archaeologist Indian Jones to what archaeologist really do for a career.  Take the time to check it out….I am sure the information will help you come next week!
